FLAVORED Food and Wine Festival Set to Celebrate Culinary Diversity in Queens
Queens, NY – The Pearls and Ivy Foundation of Queens, Inc. announces its inaugural FLAVORED Food and Wine Festival, set to take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Quad on Queens College. This outdoor tented extravaganza will celebrate culinary excellence by uniting chefs, restaurants, vendors, and industry leaders for an unforgettable experience.
In partnership with Queens College, the Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Jr., Councilmember Nantasha Williams of District 27, VFW Post 1790, Queens Economic Development Corporation and The Entrepreneur Space.

• Live cooking demonstrations by Celebrity Chef JJ and Lifestyle Expert Jazz Smollett, from the hit TV show “Living By Design“. Also, hear from award-winning actor, model, and now Vegan Chef Tobias Truvillion. This feature is brought to you by TV ONE/CLEO TV and produced by PowerHouse Productions.
• Culinary Tastings: Savor dishes from a diverse lineup of restaurants, including our featured restaurants Melba’s and Brooklyn Chop House; as well as participating restaurants and chefs: The Soup Lady, Taste Buds Required, Sassy Sweets Vegan Treats, Jack’s Pepper Heist, Doosra, Quiaufa’s Kitchen, The Nourish Spot, Queenz Bakery Cafe, Gino’s of Kissena, Menya Jiro, Parlo Kitchen, Bake Me Healthy, Quiaufa’s Kitchen, Spread-mmm’s, LLC and Madame Susan Sauces.
• Wine and Spirit Samplings: Taste selections from top wineries and distilleries, including Jiu Jiu Vodka, Brooklyn Winery, Stoney Wines, Royalty Spirits Distillery, Wine and Melanin, Uncle Nearest, and more.
• Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances from local artists, DJs, including DJ Exeqtive, and a special performance by saxophonist Ashley Keiko.
Romney Smith, of NBC 4 New York/WNBC, will serve as the event’s host and Mistress of Ceremonies.
