Jazz Smollett
Jazz is an award-winning content producer, host, chef, and designer, currently the Executive Producer and host of CleoTV’s Living By Design. With a 15-year career as a TV producer and lifestyle host, she is known for her storytelling and audience connection. She has worked on projects like Little and Candyman, and served as Showrunner for TVOne’s Urban One Honors. In 2016, Jazz transitioned to on-camera roles, co-writing a cookbook and hosting Living By Design, now in its third season. She is also launching a lifestyle brand, Dreaming of Juniper, and writing a column for Uprising.
Chef JJ
Chef JJ Johnson developed a love for cooking at seven, influenced by the diverse cultures of New York City and the Poconos. His culinary philosophy celebrates the richness of the African diaspora, challenging traditional cuisines. As the founder of Ingrained Hospitality Concepts, he has earned acclaim, including a James Beard Award for his cookbook Between Harlem and Heaven. His quick-casual restaurant, Fieldtrip, focuses on rice as a cultural connector. A strong advocate for sustainability and food justice, Chef JJ continues to create change in the culinary world and plans to open more restaurants celebrating African and Caribbean flavors.
